I have loved the cure for many decades,saw them on this tour and did so because Robert Smith told Ticketmaster they couldn’t charge the hundreds of dollars for every ticket because he wanted every cure fan to be able to see them live so I think this move is pure iTunes.If iTunes really want to make it good they would have sent all the live versions on this release to all the people who pre purchased songs of a lost world last year,like me.Musically really good but you hosed us business wise.

This is a terrible album! It took them how many years to make 8 mediocre tracks? This is a complete waste of money. Plus Robert Smith is a geriatric freak.

This is one of top albums to be released on 2024, and this release with the full album plus the full live version is an amazing deal.
The 1-star reviews are not for this release but for the previous release that did not include the live versions, so the loyal fans feel cheated. I can sympathize, but they don’t reflect their feelings about this release.

I think it’s silly to complain about this configuration because you already bought it. People like myself who bought album when it came out may feel taken seeing original available with the live version, but it’s not priced as a double album, so you’re not getting ripped. True, anyone who hasn’t immediately bought new album gets it free, but don’t fret, all proceeds go to charity, plus it’s the Cure live.

As much as I hate the timing with releasing this a month after the initial Songs of a Lost world..-at least they offer a single album version vs mandatory rebuy of the new LP and live version double album.. I’m hoping they release a Blu-ray 4K physical release as well .. I adore this album .. the best song on the album is END SONG! Which sounds like it came directly from Disintegration:):) the live versions add so much more .. must by or at least add to Apple Music subscription for huge cure fans ! BRING ON SONGS OF A LOST WORLD PART TWO 2025
