Home for Christmas

This is such a nice change from “contemporary” Christmas albums. Classic arrangements and amazing vocals. This has been added to our Christmas rotation with other classics.

Love Cheyenn’s new Christmas album with wonder classic sounds & amazing orchestra! ! And she’s only 18 years old!

Great vocals Cheyanne Grace you made your Father and family proud.

I wanted to really like this album. I did not really like this album. At first blush Cheyenne did a great job. Yet despite her apparent vocal training there were far too many little issues with diction that she still hasn't worked out that ultimately caused me to rate the songs at an average of 3.5 stars. A couple I was generous with a 4. But there definitely wasn't anything approaching a 5 anywhere on the album. Moreover, the arrangements and accompaniment weren't anything unique or fresh. Pretty much the soundtrack from any other generic Christmas album out there. Ultimately, she hasn't really found her groove that sets her apart as a unique voice yet. I contrast this album with another that came out this year from Stella Cole. Stella's voice has a definite signature and Stella chose a specific genre and style with fresh arrangements to really set herself apart. My biggest dissappointment in this album is the only complaint I had about Stella Cole's as well: only one of the ten songs on the album is about the real Reason for the Season. Snow and sleighrides, chestnuts and holiday wishes are great. But it is called Christmas for a reason; would it hurt to include a few songs about Christ? There are plenty out there to choose from.

Her scale is wide and crisp. Little Alter Boy will be a hit. Her music makes you want to listen to it again and again.

She really knows how to sing and I love the classic songs.

What an amazing voice! And for someone so young! Love to have this album playing in the background while we decorate the tree, make Christmas candy, and get our festivities on. This will be our new ‘go to’ Christmas album for many years to come. Well, done, Cheyenne!

This album captures the spirit of Christmas and will be played for generations. It is classy and timeless. It is truly refreshing to see new songs being released by people (both Cheyenne and the orchestra) with actual raw musical talent. I can’t to see what else she will record in the future!

One of the best Christmas albums I’ve ever heard. This young woman has a bright future in music!
