I have to say occasionally that CD or digital version may not be the same however I have the ablum. No exceptions to her experience expertise and loyalty to friends family “fans” etc. This album is a little different than you may expect but high quality work involved again by an amazing woman. In this album she blended some of her past people she had her start with… so a like different than recent albums but still stronger than earlier albums I cherish. This album has a rap feel and R&B very strong vocals and album by some she started with in her career with an I am not going to take that from you…mess up see ya bye. So since she is willing to help and work with artists big small etc working with amazing artists you likely would never know but I caught some. Some artists taking years a long time she was there. I had to change the album after listening to it several times but no it will be listened to again. Don’t worry Mary excellent to see a woman of what you are working with the boys again! Advise she has a couple remakes of whole lotta love and stairway to heaven (zeppelin) Australia album has it, however no this is not the same so I would check it out and listen carefully. Very intense. Actually very meaningful album it is some she started out with. She always expresses how much she still cares about them, and no You really can’t as most of last 2 decades compare it. Very deep and meaningful but no you have to understand the artist beforehand. More rap type music RCA studio no it is a tribute to their beginning while still keeping most current topics relevant and it may not be what you would expect but it is not a simple album. Rap style beginning but not talking any “stuff” from the male counterpart shows a blend of past without compromising the present work. It may not be what you have been used to but no I believe that if you just want light music this is not it. Want R & B rock no. So it is a collaborative tribute to each other without compromising present work. Shows respect for and from each other Next album we do not know this may not be for everyone but next album she likely will shock our as again so mic 1 take 1 3 in one album pretty decent Mary teach them a lesson wichu

I've been a die-hard Mary fan since her debut. Her music resonates with me, and I always find myself replaying a few favorite tracks on repeat. From this album, my top picks are songs 1, 3, 4, 6 (a absolute favorite), and 8 (another standout). Overall, I'd give this album a solid 8/10.

I think I'm up to date on everything MJB! Having purchased 2 in a week (Apple Music's "Live" & this one (review later) Lol I remember when she first hit the scene and everyone thought "another female rapper"... then she sang "I'm Goin' down" and they realized she had chops!!! She hasn't looked back yet !! From there to UNDISPUTED QUEEN OF HIP-HOP SOUL & recent Inductee to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!!!! Yea, YEA! MJB's ON FIRE!!!!!

I’ve been a fan since “What’s the 411” — since 1992. If this is the last Mary J record, well, I would have expected some thing a bit more grandeur — a well polished bookend to an amazing music career that has spanned more than three decades. Still, Gratitude is a GREAT album! Great production, vocals, lyrics and guest appearances. Thank you, Mary J!! 😘

Personally, my two jams are 4 , 5. Not her best obviously but if I want the original, I’ll throw the old CD in the 8 tack. 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
