Pitch correcting disaster

If you can stomach the sounds of Freddie's vocals being pitch corrected--yes, they pitch-corrected Freddie Mercury!--then you'll likely enjoy this. It's one thing to re-mix an album, but it's quite another to hamfistedly pitch correct vocals from one of the best rock singers of all time. Brian and Roger should be ashamed.
Fantastic!

My only gripe is the sound of the remixed drums. They’re distracting. Otherwise, this is immensely enjoyable. Deacy gets to shine more than usual. Also some superb session recordings - the first Liar and Great King Rat of the bonus material. The guide vocal versions are my favorite, but for Freddie’s sometimes hilarious, sometimes really good vocals and scatting. There will never be another Freddie.
Hearing the studio banter is also a real joy. Would love to see this for every album. The Miracle’s collector’s set set is also good.
Love It!!!

Their debut was a superbly strong album that was weakened by the available production at the time. However, with this remaster and remix, Queen’s first album in this format is perfect. This year I proudly own it digitally, and after Christmas, I’m going after the box set. Rock On :)!!!!!
Love it

Overall I like the remix and bonus content, too. It rejuvenated my interest in the album as I discovered it a long time ago . Mad The Swine getting added in the original album is a nice touch.
Wow!

I’ll just say the remix of this album is incredible. Drums and bass greatly improved. Vocal mix exquisite. A very rich sounding remix. Very interesting demos and extras. Worth every penny.I will admit this was never my favorite Queen album ( still love it though) but this remix forces me to re-evaluate my perceptions. Now PLEASE do the same remixing for Queen 2.
