    Just a money game….
  • Great Remix & Disc 2 is Remarkable

One of my favorites now sounds better than ever. George was still at the pinnacle of his newfound startdom as a solo artist. The remixes are wonderful. Everything sounds fresh and new. The highlight for me is hearing the demo tracks found here. George's voice is produced quite remarkably. The unfinshed tracks are so much fun to listen to just for the chance to hear every nuance and detail of Harrison's singing.

The treasure of this release is George’s rendition of Sail Away Raymond, a song he wrote for Ringo. It’s absolutely delightful to hear George sing this little ditty. As for the rest of the album, I can honestly say I don’t care much for remixes. Why mess with the original sound? It’s a great little album, often overlooked.
  • One of Harrison’s weakest albums.

The single is the best track on the album. From there, it’s a swift decline as the rest of the songs are bland, uninspired and forgettable. This is what happens after the Beatles. As much as Harrison felt stifled being in the group, both Lennon and McCartney set the bar high, which pushed George to be a better and more focused songwriter — whether he wanted to admit it or not. This album lowers the “songwriting” bar that Harrison had scaled just a few years earlier.

All I heard was wailing for the 1st minute of the song…not for me thanks.

A musical genius guitarist, singer and songwriter. His ability to write songs with such feelings of love and emotion of life is one of a kind. He helped change the world of music with his style and creative passion.

I have been waiting for this remix. My opinion the last record Harrison released that every track was good. Every record after this, you couldn’t find enough tracks to make one decent record.
