It seems to me that this single is a conscious effort to get a direct, raw sound. It’s the sound of people in a room playing together. I find it refreshing after the polished and VERY adult contemporary sound of his last album. His voice took some getting used to but he’s still hitting the notes. I always like hearing an artist who has nothing to prove putting out great music. Enjoy it, he’s not going to be around forever…Thanks Sting
Distorted vocals ruin this rocker

Sting is one of my favorite artists of all time, and this song has good structure, but his voice sounds like it's been through a meat grinder. Weird production choice or are his vocal chords shredded? Really hoping it's the former.
