Yes. It’s different. Clearly he’s maturing and trying a new sound while going through something. No he’s not gay hating? Dumbest comment. Good album for this style. Don’t think he made it for hits but because it was therapeutic for him.

Shawn, is completely different from being assuringly aware, that he captivates the assurance to inspire the most impactful surge of suggestion to suppose meaning. His material is well formed, we must let him excel to generate his music and singing, its thoughtfully processed, I support him endlessly mi amano es para musica…🩵

Out of all of Shawn’s work this album is by far him most personal, vulnerable and emotional to date. It’s an excellent piece of work because it highlights Shawn’s talent, his unique voice and amazing song writing. Now this album is different. Shawn decided to go with a folk type of music instead of his usual pop, so it might not be for everyone. I’ll admit at first I wasn’t a huge fan of this album, but after many listens it grew on me and I love it. I’m glad he’s feeling better and is back to work and if this album is anything to go by, we’re in for a bright future as Shawn Mendes fans.
