Love Friendly Fire!

We’re all familiar with these hits so I’ll make some comments on Friendly Fire instead.
Really love the song, and honestly the more I listen to it the more it’s truly becoming one of my favorite Linkin Park songs. Its super catchy and I just love the melody to it. Chester’s chorus really shines through on this one too; very powerful. It’s also nice to see more prominent guitar work on this song considering a lot of that was either toned down and/or lost in the mix on One More Light as a whole. I think that was probably a product of Mike and Brad reworking the song in December 2023 and them feeling the song needed some more guitars. Rob also does a good job on the drums too. Both he and Brad cut through the mix on this and I like it a lot. Honestly Friendly Fire is a great example of what One More Light would have sounded like if it was more rock-oriented, and I think a lot of fans would have gravitated to it more if that was the case. Friendly Fire is a great song and I’m glad the band released it!
Also nice to finally have an official release of QWERTY!

With the addition of Emily Armstrong the days of Chester Bennington are remembered on this album. It has most of the music(if not all) they are playing in their concert series right now, but it all is the original Chester.
Of course it’s missing some classics, but this a well crafted look as a whole at Chester’s time with LP.
Thank you for the years of amazing music Chester and LP. This will be my go to when looking back over the years.
