To be frank, i got lucky on the day of the play & I was able to score one ticket at a good price so I went. I the play itself was confusing and as I found out later, with the overlapping dialogue, was intended to be hard to follow because thats sort of what real life is. But each time the band played, the music was transcendent. Oh my good, where did that come from? I don’t know if these songs will make best sellers but it stopped me in my tracks.

The fact that this is the “score” for a play is wild. It could be on the radio today or in 1970. Perfect.

There is one thing this recording does that stands out. It brings back the sound of 1970s rock and roll and the play Stereophonic tells the story of how it came to life.
