La carátula no es la original. Está demasiado editada. Tiene demasiado filtro. Parece un dibujo. Selena no se ve natural, se ve como de goma, pareciera una figura de cera. Hasta el fondo y la ropa de ella en la foto, todo está editado. Hubiera sido mejor conservar la foto original en toda su esencia. Sin tanto retoque. El disco también está manipulado. Sonido sobre procesado y saturado. La mezcla de todo el álbum no es la original. Yo me quedo con el álbum del 1994, el clásico que todos conocemos y que nunca debió ser dañado de esta manera.

This is a remastered version of her original 1994 album “Amor Prohibido”. It’s more or less the same album with a few differences. There are subtle changes (musically) to some songs like “Amor Prohibido” that will make me pass on these remasters. The real highlight is “No Me Queda Más”. The more circulated version of this song is the orchestral balad version that was added to the album back in the mid 1990’s when the album caught fire and to appeal to a more international audience. That version has (finally) taken a leave of absence to be replaced by the original ranchera version from the original release. This version is the one that was remastered. It had a dreamy and nostalgic sound to it and will be appreciated by those that take a liking to a timeless mariachi sound.

Still some of best music ever all these years later. A beautiful queen with a beautiful voice.

I love selena and i love this album, but for me the sound quality is overdone and the music quality isn’t great!
