For the first time they finally released a song that I can’t stand 😂 rescuer is absolutely terrible but I still give them 5 stars because 1 song out of 4 albums ain’t bad! The rest are perfection.

The evolution of their sound without losing site of their magic and unique sound has been such a pleasure to follow! I was so worried this would fall short after loving all their earlier albums. But definitely not! It’s a more mature and evolved sound but equally haunting and melodic.
  • Something Old and Something New

This album is both a leap forward in sound and a callback to other albums. While this album doesn't have the beauitful ballads of Truth is a Beauitful Thing, it does see a return of the strings in a few tracks. The uptempo styling of Californian Soil is very rpesent in this album as well. All in all, this is a strong effort from London Grammar.
