Been a big fan for many years but after Closer Together and now this I"m beginning to wonder if they have lost their way. It's not bad but they have lost somthing, maybe they need Rick's help
  • Mixed bag...need more like "Cheap Coffee"

The first half is the one to listen to. And the old Avett formula is a bit stale -- but "Cheap Coffee" ... we need more like that. Please and thank you.

They’re just not the same as they used to be. I miss acoustic guitars and banjos. Rick Rubin has really changed them and not for the better in my opinion. Very disappointed in this album.

A true Avett album…honest, authentic, meticulously crafted and recorded (thanks Rick Rubin) and their strongest collection of songs in recent memory. Not a single song to skip. A great addition to an amazing discography and for those new to the band, a great introduction.

They truly had this one brewing for a while but it was worth it. I’m glad they took the time to find a balance between their new sound and their roots. Good stuff.
  • Enjoy.

Just found this band while flipping through radio stations. Heard Love of a Girl. Great song.
