What a disappointment! I was hoping for something MUCH better than this since it is clearly tghe most comprehensive recording of the show. Unfortunately, the album suffers from being over produced including bad balancing and a bizarre decision to lean heavily on the treble side. It also suffers from some strange tempo choices that end up sounding lethargic and comes across like easy listening tracks. It lacks the overall driving rhythms and urgency that make the score exciting. Several performance choices are odd as well. Didn't anyone involved TRUST the source material? Save yourself the trouble and go back and listen to the Original Cast Recording.
