Music is paced wrong, lyrics are weird 🤷♀️

Some of the words in the songs are emphasized in a weird way to keep the pacing of the song on the right beats. And some of the lyrics are just blatantly bad, like “I’m a star, here I are.” Like that grammar is atrocious and it just sounds ridiculous. Some of the lyrics sound like they would be said by Yoda, such as “leave you here, I don’t wanna.”

The movie was okay. It was interesting and I’m glad I watched it, but I can easily say that I’ve seen better. I wasn’t a huge fan of the songs. They were all kinda dark for a Disney movie and had a sort of gravity to them. And they were easily forgettable. I wish that Julia Michaels hadn’t done the songs. I wanted Lin Manuel Miranda (Moana and Encanto) or the Lopezes (Frozen franchise) to come back to do wish because they’ve been really successful in the Disney universe this past decade. All in all, the movie wasn’t terrible, but the songs weren’t great. Especially since Disney has a legacy of magical songs (from the Sherman brothers and George Burns, Allen Menken and Howard Ashman, Stephen Schwartz, Frank Churchill and Ned Washington, The Lopezes, and Lin Manuel Miranda) these ones were just mediocre. Hope someone else can do the songs for the next Disney movie :)

I loved the movie and so did my kids but one thing that pisses me off is that ADULTS rate a kid movie it’s for kids not for you… kids enjoy this so what for adults that hate this movie don’t buy the song it’s simple don’t do anything about it leave it alone other then that it’s really good!
