This album has some melodies and has its moments, but however, I needed more melodies and more harmonies and rhythms

I can’t stop listening to this album from beginning to end! It’s an amazing comeback and Amy Lee sounds better than ever! The lyrics, singing, guitars, drums, all of it is phenomenal! It’s like music had been building up for so long that they couldn’t make a bad song on this album! The opening/second song and last songs are the perfect bookends as well. Evanescence is BACK and better than ever! Lots of throwbacks and similar sounds to that of Fallen and The Open Door too.
A great comeback for an amazing band.

After 10 long years, Evanescence has finally gone back to their rock roots with some great songs with extreme chugging guitars, and that backing bass and amazing drum lines performed by Will Hunt. I will say a couple of the songs I feel like are a little too compressed and it makes Amy’s vocals kinda hard to hear. But once you really grow to the album it becomes more natural. The final song: ‘Blind Belief’ on this album sounds like a perfect mixture of songs from both of their albums: ‘Fallen’ & ‘The Open Door.’ The pre-chorus & chorus sounds like it’s straight outta The Open Door era with a little bit of Fallen mixed in. But the verses (especially the second verse) sounds like it’s from Fallen with Amy Lee’s soft singing voice and the soft electronic drums in the background.
This is more how I remember Evanesence

Definitely is more in tune with their identity.
