Fallen (Deluxe Edition / Remastered 2023)

Could Amy Lee not hate herself more? Why does she hate Evanescence’s pre-Fallen material so much? It’s so good! As for this, well let’s just say the “bonus” tracks Missing and Further Away are cash grabs and highly redundant because they were already featured on Lost Whispers. I know Amy could’ve added Forever Gone, Forever You, October, Anything For You, Forgive Me, and any songs on Fallen originally done on Origin (Imaginary in its original form was a dark wave masterpiece). And there’s even more I didn’t mention! For y’all calling themselves Evanescence fans, check any of those aforementioned songs out on YouTube. They are very amazing, and if you find more than this you’ll realize that this anniversary album is awfully short on material. Can you say missed opportunity? Indeed it is, for I know that Evanescence’s bootlegs and “demos” are better than most artists’ released material. If only Amy Lee would get over her embarrassment at her youth and release this stuff!!! Btw I ain’t trashing Fallen, I’m just pointing out the unfortunate reality of this anniversary album. Fallen is a good album, not on par with Origin, self titled and The Open Door, but good nevertheless.

Because they never released their outtakes on Fallen around two decades now and this is it with bonus tracks, and demo and live music performances

On the second track could that base be heard any more loudly? that is exactly how you remastered something rightly unless appropriate & or approved of. I want to meet Amy Lee person.

BRING ME TO LIFE’s DEMO VERSION IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT 👍 🤩 AND “Missing” has always been such an underrated gem by Evanescence.

The best songs, great album!

I love Evanescence this is my favorite band. I love all their songs. It would’ve been nice if she added some of the songs from the other demos as well like origins, but if anybody is looking for the origins album, you could actually buy it from eBay they have the original, but if evanescence ever came out with, a collection album featuring the other album as well take my money

This album has earned its spot in music history. It’s a shame that rock no longer exists as it once did in pop culture but even today Bring me to Life is known among even younger generations. Amy’s voice is so beautifully delicate yet strong and passionate. Definitely one of those instantly recognizable voices unlike any other. The additions to this remastered version are very much welcomed. We finally have a proper strings version of My Immortal; something fans have been wanting for years. This album has sold so many copies. One of the top selling records of this century, in fact. This album is a 5 out of 5 stars and if you haven’t listened to their newer work you best do so

I love this version. I can’t wait to have the rest of album on 11/17. Have been a fan from the beginning and to watch Amy Lee’s voice mature has been beautiful

Loving this version of BMTL and this new version of Fallen so far. As much as everyone loved the original album, I think this highlights more of (what I appreciated from Fallen/what made me an Eve fan from day 1) which would be: Amy’s vocals, her piano solos, and her vision of the style of what BMTL should’ve been. Excited to hear the rest of the album, got my Target version coming too, might just splurge and get all of them since the discs all come in diff colors at diff stores!
