It was the 90s of course the music wasn't the best. But this cd brings me so much memories of when I was a child. So therefore I love it.
When he kind of had a voice

This is not the album in the review, in some ways it is a better album. In contrast to his over-produced eponymous album in English, on this much earlier album (1st solo) Ricky is not afraid to sing in head register, where he actually sounds good. The whole latin-lover stereotype led to him singing more and more in chest range (lower), and he doesn't have the technique to pull it off. The vocals on this album are better, but the album is as underproduced as his later albums are over-produced. Here, only the ballads really work (Fuego contra fuego and Vuelo are the best). The up-beat songs are pure cheese, but that has its appeal, especially for nostalgia's sake. This is an album for the old fans, not the She Bangs devotees.
Great!!!!!!
