Most of the time parody songs are good for a quick laugh and then just as quickly forgotten. But Cledus T. Judd's send-ups of Kenny Chesney (My Cellmate Thinks I'm Sexy), the Dixie Chicks (Wife Naggin'), and Kid Rock (Plowboy), have a staying power that comes from good execution and clever writing. The songs work musically despite his "joke voice," and for anyone familiar with the infamous Chesney-McGraw police horse incident "Cellmate" is a riot. This is by far the best of his work, though the rest of the album doesn't maintain this standard.
