I've listened to a variety of Sufjan's albums for a while, since high school. In my opinion this is by far one of his best albums. It carries so much emotion in each song, with some of the instrumental parts taking you into the music, if that makes any sense. The way he handles such heavy topics with such poetic lyrics is beyond me. Definitely worth a listen.
