Good CD with a couple of great tunes. It is my opinion that Steven is at his creative best with Porcupine Tree and I wish that he would spend more time with that effort. I much prefere the heavy guitar riffs, Gavens drums and Richards soundscapes to this Synth pop stuff. It would be so great to get anouther Porcupine Tree musical effort in the vein of Absentia, Deadwing and Fear of a Blank Planet. Closure Continuum was a step in the right direction but not quite there. I understand that an artist has to grow but once in awhile it would be great to get much more of what most Prog fans really want.

Definitely a more enjoyable listen than the Future Bites, but that’s not saying much. Still too much in the synth pop vein for my liking. Best tracks are What Life Brings, Beautiful Scarecrow, Economies of Scale. Lot of instrumental/spoken word tracks that really don’t go anywhere and are more soundscapes than actual songs. Not that he cares what I think, but I really hope next album he goes in a more rock direction.
Incredible

A really beautiful album that covers alot of ground. For the full effect listen with good headphones or AirPod Pros.
The Porcupine Tree album we deserve

Personally, Closure/Continuum didn’t do it for me. But this… just wow. Blew me away. Album of the year, and it’s not even close, y’all.
Might be the best album Steven Wilson has made!

Every song is great but the second half starting with Beautiful Scarecrow is just next level.
Really shows that Steven is only becoming a better musician with every album.
I just don't get it

I've been a huge fan for 20 years now, but this just isn't doing it for me. Music to put you to sleep.
Amazing Audio Experience

I've been a fan of all of his work with Porcupine Tree and his solo work until the last two albums "To The Bone" and "Future Bites". I thought he was trying to force being a certain thing without just being himself on those albums and some of the songs are just cheesy pop.
His albums always sound great, but this new one his may be his best sounding one to date. It sounds more organically like a Steven Wilson album than the last couple of outings. Audio wise it's stunning. Surround sound or headphones recommended. Enjoying it after the first 4 songs. Looking forwards to hearing the rest.
Two songs in, amazing

I’ve always loved Steven Wilson, but have a gut instinct this could be his finest work ever.
