Tell me it's not really the END

I got turned onto these guys about a year ago by accident and began to stockpile all of their older CDs (including most soundtracks) and loved everyone of them.
Four guys from Texas with no vocalist, who would've figured? But I was hooked!
Kinda became my new favorite band, but I wondered why there were new no new recordings in the past 6 years. Sadly figured they must've broken up, until I see this new LP coming out last fall. I couldn't have been more excited, and I traveled from the Bay Area to both LA and Nashville to see them live, which was incredible!
END is very solid, but slightly different from what I was expecting.
Instead of emotional, cathartic mini symphonies, this album appears more melodic and "safe" to me.
Still, I can't get enough of the last two songs "the fight" and "it's never going to end" while I'm working out of the gym.
I just hope the album title doesn't have an underlying meaning. If so, I'll still be playing what I have bought for the next 10 years.
