I was incredibly surprised when I saw this had come out, as Hoseok and Seokjin are both enlisted at the moment, but, you know what, I’m still glad that they were able to release some more music.
However, this song does seem to me like a slight publicity stunt, as they just had to let go of another member for their mandatory military enlistment. It still has the BTS message of love, don’t get me wrong, but, to my ear, it just doesn’t sound sincere. I’m proud of these men, and always will be, as they had such a major impact on not just the Korean music industry, but the music industry worldwide, and they continue to spread messages of love and kindness, even as they grow as artists and as people. I don’t like the song, personally, but I also prefer their older songs, ones that are more “Boy In Luv” and “Run”, and less “My Universe” and “Permission to Dance”.

There’s literally racist comment under the reviews from a troll/hater and I’m gonna need Apple Music to please act on that cause it’s insane…anyways, this song isn’t my cup of tea but it is a fun bop for a game or anime opening song. Their voices are heavenly as usual and I would definitely love listening during happy moods! Miss them so much and hope they return as soon as possible.
