Do I like seeing Dolly out there still performing? Yes. I hope she lives forever. But her vocals just aren’t there anymore, not for this stuff. I think she coulda pulled this off.. in 1985? 1995? In 2023 she sounds like she’s fallen and can’t get up. And for context I'm someone that likes her 70s/80s pop crossover stuff. Back then she basicallly got bullied by press and public into giving up her pop career in favor of just country. I hate that for her, but this album only gives critics an excuse to say they were right all along.

The lyrics are good, but the voice doesn’t fit with this wannabe rock music on the first single!! Dolly is NOT a rock/metal performer & never will be!! What also needs to stop is the fake praise for this single/album!! If these people would check into the track list & “guest performers” you would learn it’s going to be 98% covers!! Hey, can’t wait for Iron Maiden to record a country album & get inducted into the country hall of fame!! The fake reviews have to stop! The album stinks, accept that! She claims to be a liberal but does a song on here with far right wing Kid cRock! She butchers up classics like Stairway! As I said, her vocal style is NOT a style for rock! The album is only done because of her induction into the joke hall of fame in Cleveland!

At first sample a year ago, I thought oh no I’m not into this. Now I come back to listen again and I see the charm and beauty of the songs. Wrecking Ball with Miley is almost gut wrenchingly beautiful. Magic Man totally addictive. Glad I came back for another listen!! Think outside the box and enjoy the artistry. We love Dolly!!

Despite of several bad reviews from bitter haters trashing this album, the record itself it’s so easy to listen to. I like it. Dolly sounds like herself most of all. She did not tried to sound like a rock performer. Give her a break. She’s talented, period.
