  • Good Stuff!

I really enjoy when John gets political and theres some tracks on here that are real gems and make you think. The violin work is amazing and probably the best I’ve heard from all of John’s previous work. The whole album reminds me of the Human Wheels album; well written and unique music for each track. Oh and then there’s John’s singing voice. I actually like it, it fits his personality as one of the most curmudgeon voices in ROCK!

I thought after his last album, this one would have to be better. Guess I was wrong. After listening to it I couldn't decide if A. He forgot how to rock and roll. B. Has nothing left to say so put out any piece of garbage because people will buy it. C. Is in a state of depression. D.. All of the above. Really deserves 0 stars.

John we have loved your music for decades but the cigarettes had ruined your voice. I hate to say this but your voice is terrible.

I can’t get through this one. I have been a fan since the beginning but it is sad to listen to him at this stage of his career. As for his observations of the current state of Portland I have to ask him, what party is in control?

The sound of his voice the past few years is quite bad. No matter the content of the song, his voice sounds like gravel and sand at best. Lets remember John in his past not present.

Every song sounds the same wherein he chooses to make a “statement” instead of a hit song 😏. And his voice is completely shot and at times, hard to listen to because “Louis Armstrong” … he’s not. This album proves his career has been “Crumblin’ Down” 🇺🇸
