The soundtrack has some of Jafar's cut songs but not "Proud of Your Boy" which was very dear to Howard Ashman and was supposed to be the heart and soul of Aladdin, equal to "Part of Your World" in The Little Mermaid. It's exclusion is very disappointing.

Previous releases of Aladdin have included Ashman's Proud of Your Boy and while the song lives on in the Broadway musical, there's something beautiful about the raw demo. It's not a real Legacy Collection without including the track. Other Legacy Collections include these beautiful songs that were cut or Ashman's takes on songs that soon became legendary. Aladdin was Ashman's true love he worked on and unfortunately, never saw finished. It feels like he was erased from this collection. SKIP IT!

The soundtrack has finally arrived, after one week of waiting. Honestly, you would think that a music soundtrack will be available on the very day they said it WOULD be available, but, sadly, this is NOT the case. Although I have nothing against the music, some WOULD consider it a discourtesy if they had to keep waiting for such a time without any word from the people who released the soundtrack. So, in the future, if Disney decides to release another soundtrack that’s part of The Legacy Collection, expect it to be released a week after they supposedly say it will be released to the public.
