Great 2nd Deluxe Edition, a few mistakes tho

First, it’s so nice to have her catalog get a proper reissue campaign outside of Japan for once! The Physical one was awesome, although imperfect, as is this. Although packaged to celebrate her debut album from 1971, the bonus disc dips back to the beginning of her recording career to 1966! The Toomorrow selections are a bit puzzlingly since one is an album track, not an a-side, and then has the b-side to their first single. The other 2 songs by Toomorrow are clearly some kind of vinyl rip with an attempt to clean them up, but they sound bad and are included in the description as part the “remastered from the tapes” tracks in the description, so that is odd. They comprise a single and b-side released after the Toomorrow album, which may be why they had no master to use(?). Some other tracks on the bonus disc are mislabeled/misordered on the sleeve, so be aware. Hopefully iTunes will have it fixed and labeled properly. I have the actual CDs that have a nice forward from Olivia, so this was ready before her death 😢. Can’t wait to read the booklet! Anyway, it’s a wonderful collection that mostly does right to archive her career. Can’t wait for the next deluxe edition of ONJ!
