Why? Why? Why must people try to “reinterpret” a classic song?! They’ve stripped it of its melody and now it’s just another example of crappy pop. It’s not even pop, it’s morose. Bad. Just bad.

Kelly sings beautifully. I don't know why they chose to autotune Dolly. Obviously the voice weakens as you age, yet at 76 she's still amazing. So why not just let her authentic 76 yr old voice shine rather than making her sound like she's on helium?

What a great remake/remix. Adding Kelly Clarkson to the mix really gives this single a new vibe yet still classic. Well done.

Two pros, two legends, two national treasures. One reimagined Dolly-written pop hit. The result is a stunning work that reinvents the original; this version is destined to show up at a coffee shop near you. Love it.
