I really tried to like this album, but as true Cure fan, this album fell flat with weak lyrics and a desperate attempt to make “let’s get happy?” Sucky pop songs. Smith is an artist not this song will make me popular and put me on the radio junkie. Open is the only good song, but sounds like residual leftovers from disintegration… the last Cure album as far as I’m concerned.

My favotire Cure album is finally getting remastered.

I bought Wish in 1992 in New Orleans on a road trip when I was 17 and that album changed my entire view of music. It is a timeless album that is great and fluid from Open to End. In my top 5 albums of all time!
