Her voice will go down in history as one of the great Crooners' Like Sinatra. Distintive and wonderful voice paired with the ability to convey emotion and intimacy. Song craft, production (not overly produced, and band quality are top shelf. Two thumbs up, this album keeps delivering. Through the Fires, Big Time, All the Good Times are my favs sofar but like all good albums I keep finding gems that grow on me and I believe will stand the test of time.

People change people grow and this recording shows us just that. Her ‘new’ sound is a delicious attempt to tell us a story of love and rediscovery of one self. It’s a major shift in her sound which , to me is a welcome newness to her story telling .
