Is a beautiful dirge, but I suspect is tragic in Aristotle’s sense, in that what the author believes is right ends up actually being self-destructive. I submit this by considering concurrent track titles … this singer seems involved in bad things. Drugs can tend toward depersonalization and derealization, according to DSM. Hence, a desire for someone else to give you something real, when all the while the singer clings with white hands to artificially induced emotions, being less and less real to everyone else - in the sense she is losing more and more of herself.
