You can hear even on this most basic of recordings that Aerosmith was headed toward a great career. The Road Starts Hear doubles as an enjoyable listen and historic rock artifact. And there are enough surprises as the album plays to make it unique from their debut album. It’s brief with an eight song track list, but I’d call it essential listening for Aerosmith fans.

Love it. If there is more of this kind of stuff out there please release it. Only wish my teenage friend who introduced me to Aerosmith was alive to experience this. We would comb record stores for bootleg & unreleased demos for hours. This is a crown jewel of that.
