  • A formula that worked

I agree with one reviewer who suggested this band arrived a little late. But for a person arriving late to the music scene anyway, I really liked them. Even the bizarre "Knife and Fork" (HACK) and a few others. As I grow nostalgic, I am re-listening to to Information Society and others. Really fun.

If these guys had arrived in 1984, it would be they who we remember so fondly in place of Thompson Twins and Thomas Dolby. But they arrived a bit late. That said, if you ever feel nostalgic for the 80s, put this thing in and let it rip. Great vocals, hard-hitting (for the time) base, and all the snippets of Star Trek audio are awesome. I bought the CD in 1988 and still listen to it. I guess I never did get over the 80s.
  • Avane Guard Bands like these were easy to take for granted but not anymore FOR SURE.
