I’m a huge fan of Ledisi and Gregory Porter’s music. Robert Glasper is a genius making music and bringing certain artists together. Thank you for blessing us with great music! 🙏🏽🔥🔥
  • Smooth!!

Every track is absolutely on fire; just so smooth and soul warming. I can’t stop listening to the whole album. Robert Glasper was able to get the absolute best out of each artist. This album will be on repeat for a very long time.

Another great project to add to the collective of Black Radio & the legacy of Robert Glasper. No complaints here, just good vibes only ✨
  • I thought it was Les Nubians

Esparanza Spalding's vocals in French on "Why We Speak" are magical. Beautiful song. Mr. Glasper, please collaborate with Les Nubians. French and neosoul are a nice combination.

Another great album. Black Radio 1 introduced me to the straight jazz albums, which are all great! I’m a high school teacher and I’ve gotten a lot of my students interested in Robert Glasper (so the next generation is all lined up). Had the opportunity to see Robert Glasper live (and he was nice enough to take a pic during intermission). I am now a lifelong fan.

It only gets better with new CD and I love this one.
  • Delicious.

Remembering when Black folks birthed both jazz and hip hop and they were both deemed “not music”, I love how you continually contribute to the evolving of both. Let the incapable of evolving purists go find some Puritans.
  • Getting closer to the magic of 1

I’ve had 1 on repeat since it dropped. Had to have listened over a thousand times. 2 didn’t have the same spark for me, but could never really put my finger on why. This feels much closer to 1, but now I realize what 2 was missing — and the same for this release. Casey Benjamin, Chris Dave, and less features. The magic wasn’t just Robert, but the group, and they were complimented by features not saturated with features. Robert needs to “get the guys back together” and be more selective and thoughtful about the features. This is a good album, but still doesn’t hold a candle to the first Black Radio. Fingers crossed that the magic of 1 returns to 4 🤞

Although I'd like an all Jazz album this Album is FIRE the mix of all music and artist are fantastic. There were no bad songs. Hearing those keys in the background makes it even more special. Will be on repeat for awhile. My favorites today are Shine & Out of my hands.

Robert, Robert, Robert. After much lauds from Black Radios I and II and previous traditional outputs, you come up with this. Most of the cuts were repetitious (same beat) with no bridges (the drone effect). It's as if you were in a hurry to get this project done. Rarely am I EVER critical of your recordings. You are no longer number one on my top five artists list. You now fall behind (1) Nate Smith, (2) James Francies, (3) Alfa Mist, (4) Manu Katche and (5) Phonte w/Nicolay. Hope I haven't hurt your feelings about this rating. But, you know what......F*** YOUR FEELINGS (ha-ha, get it). I still love your collaboration of black female artists. Two more you should add are Ursula Rucker and Amber Navrat (Moonchild/silkiest voice on the planet).
