Over the years I have acquired many NAM albums, but I always come back to KITARO.

I've been listening to New Age for many years. I find his music to be much more soothing than any New Age music I have. I always go back to his music. Silk Road....OMG...when that violinist starts it cuts through any stress, etc. I may have. His music prenetrates my soul. I listen to it while meditating and journaling. My husband even likes it on when we go to bed. Best I've heard so far.
Early-era Kitaro's Music

As a big fan of Kitaro, it's always nice to go back to his old albums and remember Kitaro's more youthful sounds. I think his early work revolves around simple melodies, dare I say... like early Mozart. This album is good for anybody who likes new age music without all the modern glitz and glamour of the current recording techniques. Sometimes old-tech is great. Especially in, "hi-tech" music.

This is the first that I ever bought from artist Kitaro...I have to say it left me breathless. He is a poet though music. Songs like "Theme from Silk road" and "shimmering Horizon", just to name a few . .. brillant and wonderful. If you like new age music, or atmospheric music...THIS IS A MUST!!! Worth the price.
