Broadway tracks are always different from the movie, but still very good!

Michael Ball is just absolutely brilliant as Caractacus Potts! Emma Williams really is Truly Scrumptious! I LOVE the Child-Catcher's new song! This show is absolutely fabulous!!! I actually first bought the cd as soon as it was released in the States, but I'm buying it again simply because iTunes will plug all the information where it needs to go. Thank you for putting up a magical soundtrack!!

I went to see the musical recently, and I was amazed at how spectacular it was! So, I immediately went to iTunes to see if they had a cast recording of it, and here it is! This musical is simply pure FUN! "You Two," "Me Ol' Bamboo," the various renditions of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," "Teamwork," and other songs on this album will surely be stuck in your head with their catchy and fun tunes! If you saw the musical and liked it, I would definitely recommend this! I haven't seen the movie, so I can't compare this to that, but those who enjoyed the movie may want to give this a try as well!
  • Sounds as Good as the Movie

I was really disappointed when I could not buy the individual song "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" from the movie soundtrack from itunes. However, this version is just as good as the movie. The voices are just as good as the movie actors (or better) and I enjoy this version very much. Great job on this one itunes!
  • Not the movie... but great

this isnt the movie soundtrack, its either the broadway or london production. this is really good, the show was amazing. although the movie is the best, it is a close tie.

I think the fact that this song has only 2 reviews sums it up. The songs are the kind that get stuck in your head because they are annoying, not because they are good. I really don't think this song deserves the 5 stars that the other 2 reviewers gave it. The movie was OK, but this CD is just plain annoying!

Right after I finally found it at Borders, hehe - oh well! It's one that shouldn't be missed, in my opinion. (I wish I could have seen it performed, though.) I bought it because of Michael Ball (amazing voice!) - but the rest of the cast is stellar as well. "You Two", "Hushabye Mountain", "Truly Scrumptious", and "Teamwork" are my favorite songs, as well as the beautiful duet at the end. ("Doll on a Music Box/Truly Scrumptious") If you liked the original movie, give this soundtrack a try as well. They're both awesome!
