Note to the original iTunes reviewer: while I don't construe your review as 'hateful' to my faith, I do think it comes too close to mocking carols meant to celebrate the birth of my Lord and Saviour. The tone and word choice suggest a strong bias against Christianity. Perhaps you should have 'passed' on reviewing this CD.
  • "Put off some listeners"?!!!

If people are "put off" references to Christ when speaking of Christmas... I hardly know what to say. Christmas is the birth of Christ! This is a great album that people who appreciate the season for what it truly is will love.
  • fun! but "Christmas With Conniff" is better

The emphasis on twangy guitar roots this album in the 60s. Their other album, "Christmas With Conniff," has a more lasting sound (note, that album's listed under "The Ray Conniff Singers"). As for the deleted reviews of "Here We Come..." i'd sure like to see them restored. A shame that a person's free expression is removed simply cauz it reflects poorly on the store and its staff. That's un-American, baby. Anyhow, check out "Christmas With Conniff," especially it's rare song "Christmas Bride." Never heard it anywhere else. Peace.

The comment above regarding this album was simply put to mean that this album has heavy Christian themes therefore some who prefer a secular selection of songs may find that a bit much. Why is that anti-christian? Despite, it delivers a great mix of classic and classical, well known and not well known songs like "Adoramus Te" which is the reason I found this album in the first place.

iTunes, I certainly hope you are not censoring album reviews. Just 12 hours ago, there were a number of great reviews on this album that also commented on your uncalled for comments against Christianty in your own review. Why did all those customer reviews disappear? How about not censoring your customers reviews? Enough already! This remains one of the greatest classic Christmas Albums!!
