I still remember the day Marvin Gaye was killed. I came home and my mother was sitting on the living room floor crying and holding his album when I got home from school. She hugged me and cried. I wish I had his voice.

Everyone knows "Sexual Healing" (a great song) but don't miss out on track 8 "My Love is Waiting" An overlooked gem on this album! An uplifting song that will bring a tap to anyones foot and a smile to your face. A wonderful song.

Most of this album is typical early 80's trash, but the song "Sexual Healing" is truly one of Marvin's greatest. The awesome bass line, accentuated by the rolling background vocals, give a great groove to the song. I only wish that he had used the word "us" or "we" instead of "me" in a few lines (especially at then end). Oh well, he was obviously going through a rough time in his life. I'm glad he was able to come out of his shell one last time and give us one last last gsap. THIS IS MY FAVORITE MARVIN GAYE SONG! (but What's Goin' On is the best album of all time.....)
