Love these albums, however…

Kid A is an atmospheric masterpiece, one of the best albums of all time in my opinion. Amnesiac while slightly more confusing and less cohesive, mainly because it lacks the same amount musical transitions featured in Kid a is still a very interesting listen, it still manages to really feel like a different, more stripped back, dark side of the Kid A universe. I love disc 3 and I think it’s musical transitions are very interesting and it features many “interlude sounding” tracks that continue to confuse the listener into this immersive world. However I have one problem with many combination albums including this one. I have already purchased both of these records in full but in order to buy disc three I would have to re-purchase all of this music. I wish I could separately pay for this music but unfortunately I can’t. Anyways. Great music as always! And the exhibit is Amazing… but it needs to be released on more platforms. Hopefully that will happen in the future.

I love this! I think both album by themselves are iconic enough to appreciate but I really enjoyed the deluxe content as well. This is definitely still an album that holds up!

This is NOT a complete collection of the recording sessions. All 7 released b sides were left off. You can only get that comprehensive collection if you order a special edition cassette copy. Yes, it was my mistake to assume that If I Say The Word and Follow Me Around would serve the same function that the songs I Promise and Man Of War from OKNOTOK did. A couple fresh tracks added to the existing b sides so it’s not just all previously released material, while still containing all the songs from the sessions.
The complete Kid A sessions in one go was something I have been hoping for these last twenty years. Just buy the third disc, unless you don’t have Kid A and Amnesiac.
Best album ever

Who is this FOR!? 24$ on initial release. It's two albums that have already been released, two other REAL songs, and then cutting room floor snippets. Either you HAVE Kid A and Amnesiac and could ALWAYS have put them in a playlist together or you NEVER bought those albums and are unlikely to pay $24 to get them. As with many releases like this, you have to say, "Hey...why not just release the 3rd album separately for a lower price???" And, honestly...so many people heap praise on these albums, but this is where Thom Yorke began to give up on writing songs and SINGING and instead started creating "atmospheres" and moaning low in the mix. The lyrics became a word jumble that could mean anything you wanted them to mean...it was like he fulfilled his fantasy of hiding while also having everyone look/listen. There are good tracks here (that I've owned since their release), but I don't put the albums on often...and their sucessors gave us diminishing returns.
