Three and half stars by the conglomerate reviewers says it all. The 'POP" Genesis fans love it, the die hard "Supper's Ready" fans, hate it. This is the money-making Genesis in their final tour put together by Phil for his farewell to performing; as his spine is no longer strong enough for him to stand for long periods of time, let alone sit behind a drum kit. I don't find the songs nostalgic and am not over-joyed to hear the mostly 80's set-list but, never really expected the real meat & potatoes of Genesis anyway. Oh it's not the Gabriel era stuff alone, Phil feels that was gone with Peter's departure long ago; but jeez, what about Wind & Wuthering, Trick of The Tail and Then There Were 3 stuff? Where's "Down 'n Out", "Eleventh Earl of Mar" and "Robbery, Assault & Battery"? I am sorry to say, not here. If you want LIVE Genesis you'd do far better to listen to Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited stuff.

A set list from the 2021 Tour. All the studio hits played on the current tour. Great way to replay the concert. Cherry picked from classic Albums

Don’t listen to these naysayers giving poor reviews simply for the fact that this is a new compilation. This is a great collection by the greatest English Progressive Rock band of all time. Must own.
read the reviews.

I did a 5-star review because I think everyone reviewing this would really give it 5-stars. If you look at the angry 1-star and 2-star reviews, they are complaining about the fact that it's a new compilation--one of several--with no new material. If you don't HAVE these songs, it's a great collection of Genesis material with stuff. Most of it is from the era when Phil Collins was the singer/drummer, but there's a decent taste of the earlier stuff with Phil on drums and Peter Gabriel on vocals. Genesis is the most commercially successful band of the prog rock era, though they drifted closer and closer to radio-ready pop in the latter years of the band. Still, it's very SMART pop.

Already released material but if you do not have, this is excellent music.

How pathetic to keep putting out collaborations without putting out new material. Over 20 years without any new material from Mike, Tony, and Phil.
