My son got me listening to this guy and his band and they are amazing especialy live (saw them in Saint Augustine 20 May 2024). I believe we will still be hearing from this artist twenty years from now!

For a guy to be all tattooed up with a look from the late 60’s/70’s rock scene, he is surprisingly bad! Bluegrass, really? His vocals do not fit that ancient hillbilly stuff for one! Very disappointing to hear that coming from someone who looks like I described! It’s no wonder he’s not known unless he gets mentioned by record store owners that are trying to get rid of his junk! Pass, even for bluegrass fans!

Recently was introduced to Billy, completely hooked. Tremendous musician and songwriter.

Discovered Billy during the pandemic and became an instant fan with ‘Home’. Renewal is a great recording as well. Through Billy I was introduced to Bluegrass and even got a guitar and a dobro and am learning how to play. Billy is the real deal and whether he doing traditional Bluegrass or Jamgrass it’s all stellar. Even better in person.

This is an amazing album. What a way to finish 2021 off.

The kid has great talent and an even bigger and beautiful light about him.

Saw him at a festival in KY this year and fell in love. I’m not even a bluegrass music fan; but I’ve been converted!

This album is just as good as his first. It’s very refreshing and just a very solid album top to bottom. Come back to Vermont again soon!!!
