My YouTube algorithm brought up the 2018 Menuhin Competition of which Christian Li was a Co-Winner of the event with another brilliant violinist, Chloe Chua. Recommend watching both perform as they do separate pieces from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Also, recommend watching the video of this recording on Li’s YouTube channel. The quality of sound, the crispness and fullness is unparalleled. I own several violinists’ renditions of this. Li became my new favorite in my collection.

The performance by the orchestra is brilliant and tight, but the soloist is the leader of this magnificent poetry of sound. I’m truly in awe of this rendering. Biggest applause for Christian Li. Genius
