Thank you for this anniversary edition, Amy! Iconic pop album. The remixes are incredibly fun to hear (perfect for running or party background music) and the new tracks that were never included on the album give an inside look at the original creative process. Great new material. I'll be soaking in this album while reliving great listening memories from the 90s. Talent is never ending from Amy Grant. Hope she always writes, performs and records!

Amy Grant is THE reason why we have great Contemporary Christian Music! Her music has changed my life in the most positive way. I love revisiting these songs again and hope new generations will discover Amy Grant and God’s unconditional love through Jesus.
Great album, great remastering

Some remastered albums don't sound very different than the original, but the Anniversary Edition of "Heart in Motion" definitely has more bass and crisper high end. It's easy to see why the bland "Stand by Me" was left off the original release, but the brand-new song "Don't Ever Want to Lose It" is classic Amy, plus it's nice to have all the radio remixes in one place.

What an exciting year in music and an era that will always be known for live authenticity, where everyone shined on the radio waves and jammed out on MTV and V-H1. Music like wildfire without the age of technology, we made phone calls from home that Amy would be at the local Music store signing autographs. This is the times of my life that will trigger memories more than any other. Baby Baby was leaked in San Diego radio and the rest is history. Pop songs, ballads, romance and just plain fun starting with the first track Good For Me to the end song and spiritual ground thanking Jesus for all the good in our lives in Hope Set High. Ask Me, the pressing issue of abuse letting those who are in pain know there is freedom, and letting those who are lonely with You’re Not Alone that they are not. A tribute to those gone out of our lives or gone home to heaven with I Will Remember You, and the never ending struggle of relationships, we all have our days in That’s What Love is For. Then not forgetting Every Heartbeat, that romance doesn’t have to be as serious as we were taught, but have fun enjoying each other without the pressure of anything heavy to weigh it down.
An album for the millennium that stands the test of time. Ladies and gentlemen Heart in Motion with amazing additional tracks. Turn on the power and crank it up!
One Of My First Christian Albums

My introduction to Christian Music was through this album and Michael W. Smith’s ‘Go West Young Man,’ both of which are still personal favorites of mine to this day, that I can listen to from start to finish. It’s crazy to think HIM has been out 30 years already, an album that played such a significant role in the childhoods, lives of millions oh people - myself included. Hearing these songs remastered + the new mixes & unreleased tracks brings back a lot of great memories and creates a few new ones at the same time. To a landmark album for the Christian Genre by one of its most successful, well known artists, congratulations Amy and cheers to 30 years of HIM! 🙂🥂
