Departure: Is the labor of a year and a half by us, Nathan and Beau. It's more akin to music we've picked up along the way than a set of premade, prechosen pieces, done in order to target this and that demographic. It's what we perform on the road, and more importantly, what we love. It's a new century, we get to choose what music we play. We, meaning you and us! Departure is a begining rather than having already departed. As young artists, we sang and played what other people told us to playand now, just graduating into this big world of do it yourself, Indie group, we chose to whack the knuckles of our venerable UMKC Conservatory instructors.
