I bought this Cd in Argentina back in 95. Imagine this; It was late evening. I was walking on a thoroughfare. The trees were lit and twinkling. I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the evening that I was actually envious of those sexy Ann Rice characters. Then all of a sudden I heard this music and it was this Cd, being played in a store. My first purchase took less than five minutes as this music laid its imprint on my soul. Now eleven years later, I am buying it again and was grateful Itunes carried it. This Artist/composer has the ability to write songs that actually touch the heart. It does not matter that one speaks the language of the song but it does matter that you love music because music is the language that really matters and Ivan Lins is the master of it. Here it is literally a universal language. To descibe this music as sensuous, is like labeling a unicorn as a pretty horse with a nice horn on it's head. This music is from a different world and it describes someplace I would be very happy to go to.
