I thought Yola's first album was terrific, but on this new album "Stand for Myself" I was reading the iTunes write-up where Yola herself explains having writer's block and how she conquered it to arrive with this new body of music. I didn't know Yola was a snowflake using racist terms like 'white fragility' and more—SO DISAPPOINTED IN HER. Tossing both albums in the trash.

Yola can sing it all.🎤 Soul, country, pop, etc. she is an all around exceptional artist who came on the scene in 2019. 🎸Her new album is flawless with every song being exceptional. 🎼 It sounds like something straight out of the 70’s. 👂 Listen to her rendition of Elton John’s, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.🌈 I’m not one for listening to an artist do another ones song, but wow! Such a great version.👍 She’s amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
