Another Great Album from the Master

This is another wonderful album from Bryan Ferry. It is great to have live versions of a collection of classic Roxy Music songs, as well as some lesser known songs from Ferry’s solo career. Fans of Ferry’s solo career will enjoy the live versions of “You Can Dance,” “Limbo,” “Your Painted Smile,” and “Casanova.”
The band’s performance was outstanding, but there will be comments on the change in Ferry’s voice as he has aged. I thought his clarity, diction and articulation were as strong as always. His voice has mellowed over time; it’s not as forceful as it used to be, but it is soothing and very appropriate for the songs in his later work.
