Neptune

Had this album on repeat for so long, I think the people around think I’m certifiable. The lyrics alone are enough to make me listen on repeat. The images flow and connect in the way I enjoy. It’s pure poetry. But, baby, the music. THEE MUSIC!!! It sends you. The layers are so good. I find something new at the bottom with each listen. My favorite has to be the lyrics at the end of Relapse. Woven between the chorus ( of I get these wrong my bad, but it’s what I hear) “ … really touch you I’ll give you a reason to endure it All you got say, you really love it Call it what you want Just say you love it…” beybee!! Behbee! Baebei!! You cannot get anymore luscious!!! I mean I’m sure you can but.. just but ( negate all that nonsense) I love this album in the truest sense. It’s a reason I use music as a second language— All the words and all the feelings I could never express. At this point, everyone in my life knows if they want to buy me anything beyond my customary journals, pens and bracelets. I want a record play and this album as the first album to start my collection.

this is one of those albums where you can hear just how much time and effort was put into if you’re thinking about buying it, don’t even hesitate

His best work for sure. One of those LPs you can just put on a let it play.

Every song hit home and touched on emotions we have all felt but didnt dare speak on. The sound is out of this world and authentic. Third Eye Blind is the holy grail of lyrical depth, melodic rythm, and a vibing beat. The song with Vanjess surprised me, their vocals mingle well together and the lyrics were superb. Every song is winner. Neptune is proof that lightening can strike the same place thrice!
