To say that Carley’s voice is anything other than angelic would be an insult. I challenge anyone to listen to the song 29 and not replay it over and over again. Male or female I think we can all identify with the lyrics. She ranks right up there with Sarah McLachlan for a voice that will caress your soul and leave you with a feeling of complete bliss and introspect at the same time.

I'm grateful to the pandemic for one thing: some excellent music that arrived from performers who otherwise would've been on tour performing their earlier work. I really enjoyed Carly's eponymous full-length album from 2020 and so I was surprised to see more ouput from her so soon. The 29 EP is excellent--seven short, sweet, sad, simple songs that leave you wanting more and more.

Reminds me of when Real Country was sung by a Real Country Artist with a Real Country Voice! So refreshing to hear this instead of the untalented pop wanna be female artists who all sound alike on Country Radio!
