Recorded in France in 1979 when Buddy was making money by touring. I think the Album Review is rather shortsighted and dismissive. Yes, this is Buddy Guy being real loud and aggressive on the guitar, and if you're not ready for that then don't get this. That being said this is furiously real blues. Buddy Guy was never calm on the guitar. If you wanted B.B.'s laid back grooves or if your idea of blues is polite, then no, you won't want this. If you want to hear the real burning-hot, raving mad blues, this is where you should go. And if you want to learn Buddy's style on guitar, this is a textbook lesson. Overall I think this is one of his best albums, before he went super-commercial and slick with the Silvertone albums.
All time classic!

$5.94???????????????????? STEAL OF THE CENTURY ON ITUNES! This is hands down one of the purest, soulful, inspired blues albums you will ever find! Every song has extended versions where Buddy completely lets loose. It will give you chills on some songs. No overproduction; just Buddy, the band and some mics to catch the beauty that is electric blues!
Classic blues

This is Buddy Guy at his rawest there are only six tracks but they are extended jams that are very heavy on the guitar. This is some of the most aggressive blues out there. Buddy edges a little more to the rock side of things with his energy but this is pure blues and pure Buddy guy. I recommend this album to any fan of the blues and of Buddy. This is a blues classic.

Outstanding album! Extraordinary musician! Predominantly laid-back jazz style instrumentals, blues album.
