JJ has such a sweet voice and a pure spirit behind her songs. I love to relax after a long, stressful day of teaching by putting on my headphones and listening to her songs. Her original music and these gentle cover songs bring me peace. I love her renditions of these familiar classics. I actually heard the lyric better in this rendition of Kiss me and yet it’s still playful and loving as Leigh Nash originally sang it. ‘I’m a Believer’ brought a gentle smile to my face and ‘Feels Like Home to Me’ stirs my soul. Stevie Wonder’s ‘For Once in my Life’ and the Mama & Papa’s ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ brought back happy memories. I’m sure I’ll listen to this album a hundred times along with JJs other albums. I just put all of her music on shuffle and relax. Thanks for singing so beautifully, JJ. You’re a blessing. This album is worth the wait.
